Al-Jazeera isnt CNN, its an actual NEWS AGENCY, not a privatized media network to create propaganda for whom pays. Al-Jazeera employs reporters and producers from over 80 nations !
Its now one of the worlds most trusted and most respect news agencies, and the has sprouted many other english speaking international news agencies like Turkey’s TRT network.
Based out of Qatar which is a very small and independent country in the Persian Gulf, Al-Jazeera’s coverage of the war in Yemen and the wars in Syria and Iraq has ruffled the feathers of its neighboring countries, especially the authoritarian ruled Saudi Arabia which has placed sanctions and blockades on the nation hoping to economically bring it to its knees in the same form as the US has with Iran.
Saudi Arabia has closed its border to Qatar because of Al-Jazeera’s unfavorable news coverage and has proposed to even dig a large tunnel across its border with Qatar, turning Qatar into an island !
